About me

For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for fabric and colour. As a child I loved looking through fabric pattern books at my Dads workshop and watching him reupholster everything from footstools through to deep buttoned chesterfield sofas.

I have 27 years’ experience making handmade curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, most of those years working with Dad – who taught me most of my skills. I can’t imagine doing anything else…..

What I do and how I work

Beautiful curtains, roman blinds, cushions and lampshades all made to order for your home – your space.

From a new cushion or two to pull a room together, to a full house of everything, it can sometimes be overwhelming to be faced with the wide choice on offer…..

Let me help you make your home a reflection of you and your style. Bridging the gap between an interior designer and curtain maker, I help you with your schemes and I supply a large selection of fabrics, poles, tracks, wallcoverings and more.

When you get in touch, after a chat on the phone about what you have in mind, I will visit you in your home with a carefully selected choice of samples to discuss your project further. Depending on what is required for your home, I will either take measurements to prepare a quote or I may need to work on your scheme and return with a wider choice for your consideration. When everything has been decided, and your quotation has been accepted, I will get to work in my Yorkshire workroom creating your beautiful soft furnishings.

When your curtains and blinds are completed I will hang and dress them so they hang beautifully, plump up your cushions and make sure everything is just so. I work with a professional fitter so that all aspects of your window treatment are taken care of.
